Call me basic, but my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe is the one that’s printed on the bag of Nestle Toll House chocolate morsels. Classics are classics for a reason, and Epicurious has rounded up a sparkling collection of the very best back-of-the-box recipes.
Click the link below to see their whole slide show, but here are a few of my favorites:
- Philadelphia Classic Cheesecake: This cake of cream cheese goodness is simplicity at its best.
- Carnation Lemon Bars: I always forget how much a I love a good lemon bar, and it’s hard to beat these dreamy little guys.
- Quaker Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies: Okay, I’ll be honest: I mess with this recipe a bit and mix in chocolate chips instead of raisins, because raisins are just sad grapes, but everything else about this cookie oatmeal cookie recipe is perfect.
There is one back-of-the-package recipe I would like to add to this already extensive list though, and that is Libby’s Pumpkin Pie. I love that damn pie.
